POLICY & TERMS
Please read carefully before booking. By proceeding with a deposit, you agree to the terms outlined below.
1. No Refund Policy
Finality of Service: We maintain a strict NO REFUND policy for all executed tattoo services and placed deposits. The nature of tattooing involves irreversible artistic labor, consumables, and time allocation which cannot be recouped once expended.
Satisfaction: While we strive for excellence, artistic interpretation varies. Please ensure you have reviewed your artist's portfolio and agreed upon the design prior to application. Adjustments to the design must be requested during the stenciling phase, not after the tattoo has been applied.
2. Deposit Terms & Conditions
Purpose of Deposit: A deposit is a non-refundable retainer paid to secure your appointment slot. It compensates the artist for administrative time, consultation, design preparation, and opportunity cost.
Application of Funds: Your deposit is not an extra fee. It is deducted from the final total cost of your tattoo session.
Forfeiture: Deposits are automatically forfeited if you:
- Fail to appear for your appointment ("No-Show").
- Arrive more than 30 minutes late without prior notice.
- Cancel or reschedule with less than 72 hours' notice.
- Appear under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or with sun-damaged skin (sunburn) in the tattoo area.
3. Rescheduling Policy
Notice Period: We require a minimum of 72 hours' notice to reschedule an appointment without penalty. This allows us adequate time to fill the vacancy.
Limitations: You may reschedule a single appointment up to three (3) times consecutive. A fourth rescheduling request will result in the forfeiture of the original deposit and require a new deposit to book future dates.
4. California Legal Disclosures
Age Requirement (Cal. Penal Code § 653): It is a misdemeanor to tattoo any person under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. We require valid government-issued photo ID for all clients.
Health & Safety (Cal. Health & Safety Code § 119303): PRD Tattoo operates in strict compliance with the California Safe Body Art Act. We use single-use, sterile needles and inks. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, including concerns regarding health conditions that may complicate the healing process.
